Briefcase in the field?

Is anyone taking a briefcase with them out in the field? I find myself with too much crap and (http://maplered.com) not enough organization. I have tried everything from plain old brown clip boards, to notebooks, to those zip around leather type portfolios, to steel clipboards with the boxes. What are you guys taking out in the field with you on site visits, estimates etc etc
